Infrarød sauna oppleves av de fleste veldig behagelig siden den har effekt helt ned til 48 grader. For de fleste vil en temperatur på mellom 60-64 grader være riktig, og målet er å finne den temperaturen som får kroppen din til å svette mye. Pain relief

Infrared sauna heat penetrates tissue, joints and muscles. It can relieve anything from minor aches and pains to chronic pain conditions in the tissue or muscles.


The detoxification happens by heating the body directly and this can result in a deep, detoxifying sweat at the cellular level, where heavy metals and toxins reside.


Heating the mucles with infrared rays produces an increase in the heart rate and then also in the blood flow much like regular cardiovascular exercise.

  • We want everyone to be able to use the saunas at Metime, but there a few restrictions in terms of hygiene, health and safety. It is your responsibility to notify Metime of all medical conditions and medications.

  • Before

    • avoid large or heavy meals before using the sauna, but to try and eat something, as your stomach digesting your food may prevent you from fully relaxing.
    • avoid shaving or waxing directly beforehand, as it may be irritating and prevent you from relaxing during your sauna session.
    • you are not permitted to use the sauna whilst under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
    • avoid alcohol, caffeine, nicotine or any other stimulants in the lead up to your sauna session. these may interfere with your ability to relax.
